Our second of only three collections for the year will be the weekend of April 26/27.  In addition to all the food we provide twice a week throughout the year, in July we wish to fill 100 backpacks with basic school supplies to prepare children for the new school year.   Later in the year, we want to provide a special thanksgiving bag of groceries to 200 neighbors.  And at Christmas, we want to give gift cards so that 70 families can buy food/gifts for their children.

 There are several ways to give:

• Write a check to St. Vincent de Paul and put in collection basket or mail to church (special envelopes may have been mailed to parishioners)
• Write a check to the church with “SVDP” in the memo line
• Donate online through the church’s OSV page
• During our April 26/27 collection weekend, baskets are passed around specifically for SVDP, and cash is fine

St. Vincent de Paul has been serving the less fortunate at our church since 1959, and those that come to us are truly grateful for the help.
