Available Tours

Self-guided Tours are not available during the remodel.

Guided Tours are available the second weekend of the month by reservation.

Group Tours are available by special arrangement.

School Field Trips are offered Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays by reservation.

Religious Services

We welcome visitors but if there is a religious ceremony in progress, visitors must sit quietly at the back of the church until the ceremony is completed.

Directions and Parking

The Mission is located at 43300 Mission Blvd. in Fremont, California.

If you are visiting the Mission you may park in St. Joseph Church parking lot next door to the Mission, or on the street.

From San Jose and the South Bay:

  • Take 680 N

  • Exit at Mission Blvd. Note that there are TWO exits at Mission. Take exit 16, i.e. the 2nd Mission Blvd. exit.

  • Turn right at Mission Blvd. and proceed about .5 miles.

  • The Mission will be on your left at the intersection of Mission Blvd. and Washington Blvd.

From Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and the East Bay:

  • Take 680 S

  • Exit at Mission Blvd. Note that there are TWO exits at Mission. Take the exit 16, i.e. the 1st Mission Blvd. exit.

  • Turn left at Mission Blvd. and proceed about .5 miles.

  • The Mission will be on your left at the intersection of Mission Blvd. and Washington Blvd.
