The Museum Rooms

at Mission San Jose

The Museum building was originally the convento or sleeping quarters for the padres. It is the only surviving structure from 1809 and displays Ohlone Indian artifacts, religious objects from the Franciscan period, and items from the Mission and Rancho era.

There is also a display of the Church reconstruction project of the 1980s.
