It’s easy to say “yes” and not follow through, as we see today in Jesus’ parable about the two sons. The first son initially refused his father’s request but after reflection compiled. The second son said he would do as the father asked but did not do as requested.   

How often do I attend services on Sunday and go my own way during the week? Do my actions on a daily basis reflect Sunday lip service only or do I live and act out the life to which am called as a loving and obedient daughter?

Dear God, help me to not just speak the talk but to walk the walk Our Lord proclaimed every day of my life. Amen.
