Giving Tree project helps our Sister Parish

Thank you so much! It was Christmas in November as we embarked on the Giving Tree project ~ a Work of Mercy benefiting St. Francis Xavier Sunday School Students. Thanks to all those who sponsored the children in our sister parish!  This Christmas will be extra memorable for them through your generosity.

Each ornament represented a child who attends Sunday School Faith Formation.

Giving Tree Summary 

102 families participated in the Giving Tree project

Total donations: $6,020

  • $5,365 to fund the items requested by 211 children in St. Francis Xavier Sunday school program.
  • $100 to fund mats and children’s bibles requested by Sunday school teachers.
  • $400 to fund a special Christmas celebration for the children (meat, rice, and sweets their families normally cannot afford to buy).
  • $155 to fund 5 – 6 soccer balls for the parish school children to use at recess and their after-school team competitions.
