This week we reflect on Luke 5:1-11 where Jesus said to Simon,
“Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men”
When they brought their boats to the shore,
they left everything and followed him.

We usually think repentance means turning from sinfulness toward God. And, indeed, this is the point of other readings. The gospel, however, suggests another meaning: repentance means to change.
