As we celebrate the 227th anniversary of Mission San José, Diocesan Shrine of St Joseph, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you, ministries, organizations, and communities, who have worked tirelessly to preserve and share the rich history, cultural, and spiritual significance of this sacred place.  

Your dedication, passion, and hard work have made it possible for us to honor the legacy of the Ohlone people, the missionaries, and the early settlers who shaped the story of California, Diocese of Oakland, and St Joseph Parish. 

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your tireless efforts in restoring and maintaining the Mission’s buildings and grounds, your generous contributions to support the mission of the Church, your selfless volunteering to share the Mission’s history and faith with visitors, pilgrims, and friends from near and far, and your unwavering commitment to preserving the cultural and spiritual heritage of our faith community. Together we continue the mission of the Mission.  

Our collective efforts continue to further Mission San José as a beacon of historical significance, cultural pride, and spiritual inspiration for generations to come. May this milestone anniversary be a testament to your dedication and a celebration of our shared inheritance and faith.
