Museum Open House !! You are cordially invited to the Open House of the Mission San Jose, Museum / Gift Shop & Carriage House on December 14-15 after each Mass. This is a soft reopening which includes a tour of the reimagined Museum and the renovated Carriage House. Come and invite your friends, too! We welcome everybody to enter this historic landmark and feel the connection with the birthplace of our faith in our diocese. As you step in the museum’s Pilgrim Center, feel the welcoming warmth that invites you to experience a spiritual journey. Immerse yourself in the profound and sacred story of the Divine Pilgrimage of the Holy Family and the story of the Franciscans and Ohlone Indians. See for yourself the venerated sacred relics of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saints Joseph, Joachim and Ann, and other saints. Seek solace, healing, and spiritual growth in the St. Joseph Chapel of Healing and the original paintings depicting the healing miracles of Jesus. Learn the significance of the sacred vestments donned by our priests during the liturgical season. Embrace not only the History of the People of Mission San Jose, but the Mission of Today as well.
