Called to Serve, Invited to Belong![]() Our worship spaces and parish campus are visible signs of God’s presence. Keeping them beautiful and inspiring is not only an act of reverence—it’s also part of being good stewards of our parish’s physical and financial resources. These ministries offer wonderful opportunities to share your time and talents in meaningful ways. Some parishioners serve regularly, while others step in as needed for specific projects. For example, our Garden and Flower Ministry meets weekly to care for our outdoor roses and flowerbeds. The Facilities Team and Finance Council gather monthly or as needed. We also invite volunteers for one-time events announced in the bulletin—like last year’s parish-wide spring cleaning, when over 150 parishioners of all ages came together to beautify the campus. If you have experience or interest in areas such as music, writing, web publishing, video, decorating, gardening, woodworking, IT, electrical or plumbing work—St. Joseph Parish has a place for you! If you enjoy meeting people and getting things done, or if you’re a current or retired architect, engineer, secretary, contractor, manager, business owner, financial planner, accountant, or just good with numbers—your gifts are welcome here. To help or to learn more, please contact the parish office at 510-656-2364 or learn about many other ministries here. Called to Serve, Invited to Belong |
