Starting Monday, April 23 Looking for a volunteer opportunity where you can: Fulfill your Christian calling to welcome the stranger? Make an positive impact on the life of an immigrant or refugee? Have the flexibility to set your own hours? Many immigrants and refugees in our area are struggling with basic English. Refugee Transitions trains and places volunteers to work one-on-one with motivated adults (and children as well).
  • Orientation to Refugee Transitions' mission and volunteer program. Monday, April 23rd 6:30pm-8:30pm
  • Training on principles and methodologies of teaching English to speakers of other languages. Monday, April 30th 6:15pm-9:00pm
  • Both sessions are held at 1922 The Alameda, Suite 105 in San Jose.
