Young Adults

Welcome to the Saint Joseph’s Young Adults Group!

The mission of our group is to create:
  • fun social activities
  • educational spiritual events
  • and service opportunities
for Catholic young adults (20s and 30s, single or married).

Young adults from all over the Bay Area are welcome to join us. Whether you go to mass every Sunday, or have not been to church in years, we are here to provide a supportive environment among your peers.

We meet the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM in the St. Joseph School Library. We invite you to join us at one of our upcoming events! We also encourage you to sign up for our email newsletter, which will keep you informed of all the latest Saint Joseph’s Young Adult Group news and events. See below for location and details.

Immaculate Conception: Making Practical Sense of the Holy Mystery

What is the Immaculate Conception? Sometimes holy mysteries like the Immaculate Conception can be difficult to comprehend and apply in any real way to our daily lives. However, before Mary was seen as the Holy Mother of God, we must remember she was a real person: a young jewish girl growing up in very humble surroundings in the countryside of Galilee. We will talk about how Mary's decision to listen to God's vision for her life is an inspiration for all of us.

Snacks will be provided.
