Schedule for September 2010

Dear Communion Ministers,

September 19 is being declared Ministry Sunday, an opportunity for everyone in the parish to sign up for all ministries and parish organizations. We are asking for 1-2 volunteers to staff the sign-up table for Eucharistic ministers after the 9 AM, 11 AM, and 12:30 PM Masses. The educational material on our ministry will be available to hand out. Your task will be to answer any questions to interested parishioners. Call or send an email if you are interested in helping out for 30-45 minutes on September 19.

(Also on September 18, St Joseph MSJ will have its annual picnic from noon to 3 PM.)

Reminder:

•Please review the schedule for the month, and obtain substitutes or mark “Need a Sub” for those dates you will not be available.

•When the ushers ask you to follow them to distribute Body and Blood of Christ to the disabled seated around the church, please let them lead you to each person. They know where all the handicapped are seated, and will make sure no one is forgotten.

The next schedule for October 2010 will be generated on September 21. Please send us or call with changes/absences for October.

Thank you for your continuing commitment to this ministry. Through your efforts our ministry adds reverence, and is helpful to the community at large in maintaining the focus on the Word and the Eucharist.
